Remember how I said I was gonna start an online video series…well I did. My buddy Todd who I met during SXSW came over with bandmate Matty and played a 30 minute set of stripped down, unplugged songs. Todd brought an acoustic guitar and a ukulele, but Matty went through my kitchen and took a fork, knife, tupperwear (which he put pasta in), and a bottle of beer.
However, before they played I made tasty pizza for the band and my wonderful friends that were able to take part in this experiment. I busted out my homemade pesto with ricotta and black truffle oil, homemade bbq sauce with seafood trio (my secret ingredient is tequila), veggie calzone, eggplant parm, and baked ziti. Enough about food. Watch this video.
Please take note that I filmed this. It ain’t the best thing in the world, but it’s fine for the time being. Next time, I will have a legit film crew and (crossing my fingers) sponsors, so I can take it to the next level.
So far, I have The Freelance Whales, Here We Go Magic, and The Canon Logic confirmed with more to come in the next few weeks. More details to come.
