So I’m (almost) 27. I live in Brooklyn. Music makes me happy, but I can’t play for shit. I enjoy reading very much, but don’t have the patience for long books. I love winding down my day by cooking dinner, but I also like cooking for others and making them smile. 60 Min IPA is my favorite beer, but also love a good bourbon. I’ve grown to love riding my bike around Brooklyn during the weekend (or if I get out of work before sundown) and taking pictures on my iPhone.
My day gig is the Distribution Manger at Big Fuel. I develop opportunities for earned media by connecting with bloggers, influencers, and web publishers to drive back to and grow clients’ owned channels (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube primarily).
As a passion project, I spend a portion of my time on SoundCtrl, a music tech organization based out of NYC, where I’m a board member and their blog editor. I also run a music and food video series called Backyard Brunch Sessions…I even did an improv comedy class at UCB to be more comfortable on camera (only helped a little, but I had a great time).

David,
Hi! I attending a NARIP event this week in Houston about using Social Networks, etc…and there was a handout with your information about Contxts. I’ve set up my account but am not sure how this works. Can you help? Does it require a certain type of phone only, like an iPhone or will this work with all cell phones? I’m sure it’s easy, but I’m not sure how to make the connection.
Sincerely,
Heidi

David – I stumbled apon your video series and was most impressed – you’ve come a long way in a short period of time. It appears that the move to Brooklyn from Philly was a strong move. drop me an email – I’d dig seeing one of those backyard sessions one day.
Cheers
